IHCD - First Person On Scene (BASIC)

This course is designed to take the First Aider on to the next skill level, students will be taught the skills associated with rapid assessment, stabilisation and transfer of both the trauma victim and those suffering a medical emergency. The course is approved by Edexcel and is IHCD managed. 

The course is run over 3 days for Basic Level and 5 days for Intermediate. It includes both theoretical lectures and practical sessions, designed to develop a good, all round First Responder. 

The course includes a comprehensive handbook, assessment by an independent examiner and certification.

Students are independently examined on the final afternoon of the course. Upon successful completion certification is valid for three years. (Please see First Aid at Work Re-qualification course.) 

Cost

The cost for individual places on our regular “open” courses is: £250.00 plus VAT. 

The cost of the course for a group of up to 16 candidates when run at your venue is: £2250.00 plus VAT.
